Join us for the Nordic Golf Adventure at The Local Drive! Experience the legendary Finnish Long Drink, a gin and grapefruit soda mix, while you golf in the stunning fall landscapes of Scandinavia. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to savor the taste of Finland and play in our 2-person golf league.
This league will have different flights determined by the field scores after 2 rounds. Three beautiful golf courses will be on display as you navigate the delightful and diverse landscapes of Scandinavia in Autumn.
Week 1: November 5th- 11th
Rungsted Golf Course
Located just North of Copenhagen, Rungsted Golf Club is one of Denmark’s oldest and most beautiful parkland courses. The course is set in undulated terrain with plenty of trees, shrubs, lakes and streams, providing a fantastic natural experience. Designed by Charles Atkinson MacKenzie – brother of the famous Augusta National designer Alister MacKenzie.
Week 2: November 12th-18th
Reykjavik Grafarholt
The Grafarholt golf course opened in 1963, which makes it the oldest 18-hole golf course in Iceland. The course is recognized as Iceland’s premier championship venue and has hosted many European and Nordic tournaments.
Week 3: November 19th- 25th
Meland Golf Club
Set in a stunning fjord location, traversing lakes, forests, and streams, Meland shares both challenge and beauty. Rated Norways most difficult, with many doglegs, finishing with a classic Island green par 3.
Play at Your Convenience: Our league is designed to fit your schedule! With league play available Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, pick which day of the week works best for you and your partner.
Special Contests: Put your skills to the test with the Long Drive and Closest to the Pin contests happening each week. Show off your precision and power!
Claim Victory: Compete for weekly honors and strive to become the ultimate league champion by showcasing consistent excellence across all three weeks.
Location: This league will run at BOTH our RiNo & Longmont locations!
