Play Days: Sunday (All day), Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (9-1pm and 4-10pm)
League Length: 4 Week Long Tournament (72 holes)
Week 1 will be qualifying rounds to establish handicaps.
Weeks 2,3 & 4 will be a cumulative two man scramble with your partner.
Gameplay: 18 Holes ( 2 hours of play per week per team)

As the seasons start to transition The Local Drive & Santa Teresa will be hosting the Island Invitational at some of the most beautiful warm weather destinations in the world. We’ll be starting in Hawaii for the qualifying rounds and taking a short trip in the simulator menus to the Caribbean islands for our cumulative scramble rounds. We are expecting perfect weather and great scoring conditions for this event so grab your sunscreen and come join us for some tropical cocktails and scenic golf.
Week 1: Individual Stroke
Hualalai Resort – Front 9
After Mount Hualalai erupted in 1801, all that was left was acres of volcanic rock along the west coast of the Big Island. For almost 200 years there was hardly any vegetation since the volcano’s last eruption until Jack Nicklaus decided to take on this beautiful landscape and build the beautiful Hualalai Golf Course.
Ke’olu Golf Course – Back 9
This is the second course at Hawaii’s amazing Hualalai resort. The lush green fairways of this classic Tom Weiskopf design, thread their way through vast lava fields and undulating terrain. Weiskopf has made full use of the rugged landscape and natural features to produce a varied and challenging test of golf.
Week 2: 2 Man Scramble (Net)
Albany GC, Bahamas
This championship golf course was designed by Ernie Els, featuring a desert links-style layout, and is one of the top rated courses in the Caribbean. It also happens to be home to The Hero World Challenge which is hosted by Tiger Woods and features a field of the top 18 players in the world each year. Can you be the hero this week?
Week 3: 2 Man Scramble (Net)
Baker’s Bay Golf and Ocean Club, Abaco Island, Bahamas
We have been granted the rare opportunity to enjoy this members-only club on our tropical tour through the Caribbean. The club features a Tom Fazio Course cut into the white sandy beaches of Abaco Island. You will get to experience dramatic elevation change overlooking the Atlantic as well as contoured fairways that invite you to be a shot maker. Keep an eye on the pin locations and plan accordingly to be rewarded!

Pete Dye’s signature golf course, ‘Teeth of the Dog’ has a reputation that’s well deserved. Hand carved from the rugged rock and coral of the Dominican coastline, the course is challenging from the beginning with Dye’s trademarks. Stone walls around the tees, jagged wooden fences, strategic bunker placement and seven breathtaking holes right on the ocean are among the few features to look out for on this beast of a course!
