Take a virtual trip to Hawaii and try your hand in our first monthly Beat the Pro or Joe Challenge. After Mount Hualalai erupted in 1801, all that was left was acres of volcanic rock along the west coast of the Big Island. For almost 200 years there was hardly any vegetation since the volcano’s last eruption until Jack Nicklaus decided to take on this beautiful landscape and build the beautiful Hualalai Golf Course.
There will be two prize pools in this event. One for beating our Pro and one for beating this month’s Joe. You accept the challenge and your score will determine what pool you are entered into. Play 9 holes to beat Michael’s score of 32 or Joe’s score of 53. No mulligans, no handicaps. Winners will be announced January 1st.
The top score beating our pro will receive…. A bottle Woody Creek rye whiskey AND $100 gift card to The Local Drive
The top score beating the Joe will receive… A bottle of Woody Creek gin AND a complimentary 30 minute lesson with our house pro, Michael.
